Through gifts to the Parents Fund, parents of current undergraduates as well as graduates support and enhance educational programs and opportunities at Bowdoin. Unrestricted gifts, in particular, allow the College flexibility in applying resources to the areas of greatest need, or greatest opportunity, over the course of each year. Learn more

The Friends of the College Fund provides an opportunity for members of the great Brunswick community and Association of Bowdoin Friends to contribute to Bowdoin. Gifts to the Friends Fund support the Museum of Art, the Arctic Museum, the Athletic Department, Hawthorne-Longfellow Library, the Department of Music, the Department of Theater and Dance and other programs selected by the Friends. In the past, specific projects have included special exhibits, renovations, equipment and other athletic needs, and support for the performing arts. Learn more

The Polar Bear Athletic Fund provides support for the 50% of Bowdoin students who integrate athletics into their College experience. Some of the Fund’s major goals include expanding team travel, enhancing facilities, and building a leadership-training program for team captains. Increased funding facilitates additional national exposure, enabling Bowdoin programs to remain competitive with other NESCAC schools. Learn more
