The Parents Fund is the annual fundraising effort conducted during the fiscal year July 1-June 30. Through gifts to the Parents Fund, parents of current undergraduates as well as graduates support and enhance educational programs and opportunities at Bowdoin. Unrestricted gifts, in particular, allow the College flexibility in applying resources to the areas of greatest need, or greatest opportunity, over the course of each year. Contributions to the Parents Fund help meet current expenses for essentials such as academic program support, library acquisitions, classroom equipment, athletics, career counseling, and numerous other student-related programs.

The Senior Parents Gift Campaign is an important component of the Parents Fund. The purpose is to raise unrestricted gifts that have a direct impact on academic programs and student life. This is an opportunity for all parents of seniors to honor their sons and daughters and recognize the exceptional opportunities that are the hallmark of a Bowdoin education.
The goal of the Senior Parents Gift Campaign is to increase support in this final year and raise the level of participation. All parents are encouraged to show their support. Gifts must be received by the end of the fiscal year, June 30, 2011.
