Orientation and First Year Programming

Welcome, international students!

We will be holding a special orientation for international students on Saturday, September 3rd, beginning at 9:30am in Moulton Union.  We will first have a meeting to go over issues specific to non-US citizens followed by a library tour.  After the tour, we will go to Portland for lunch and spend the afternoon at the beach and return to campus by dinner time.  This is a fun and relaxing way to meet other first-year international students as well as upper-class international students.  The morning meeting is required for students with F-1 visas.  If you are unable to attend, please make an appointment to see Dean Laura Lee, International Student Advisor, by contacting Ms. Susan Snell at ssnell@bowdoin.edu.  We are looking forward to welcoming you all to Bowdoin!
