The College Catalogue

The online Catalogue is intended to be a snapshot of Bowdoin College as of August 1 of the year of publication.  This addenda page contains only major changes to non-course Catalogue text that occur after August 1. For the most up-to-date course information, use the online course finder.

1. The prerequisite for Music 354 has been updated/corrected from the printed version of the 2011-2012 Catalogue. The correct prerequisite is "Previous credit or concurrent registration in Music 203 or 243, or permission of the instructor."

2. The Deficiency in Scholarship section of Academic Standards and Regulations for 2011-2012 has been updated from the printed version of the 2011-2012 Catalogue. The correct policy can be read here.

3. The correct name of the instructor for Spanish 204 for the Spring 2012 semester is Genie Wheelwright, not Marco Genie Wheelwright.

4. History 208 does not fulfill the pre-modern requirement for history majors, as is incorrectly stated in the printed version of the 2011-2012 Catalogue.

5. Jennifer R. Scanlon's correct title is William R. Kenan Jr. Professor of the Humanities in Gender and Women's Studies.
