Hours before convocation officially kicked off the 2010/11 school year, over 250 freshman visited the Museum to escape the heat, eat gelato, and take in the exhibits at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. The orientation event was a great success! Members of the newly formed Student Museum Advisory Committee led freshman through the galleries and introduced them to the Museum's collections. Brunswick's Gelato Fiasco served up much needed cold treats in the Museum's pavilion to large crowds of new Bowdoin Students.
