Experience Bowdoin academics firsthand! Visit an introductory course in a discipline that you have never studied, witness student-faculty discussion in a small interdisciplinary seminar, or observe how our state-of-the-art science center enhances instruction in the sciences. There are dozens of intriguing classes for you to choose in disciplines ranging from environmental studies to Africana studies to classics.

To arrange to visit a class, please visit the Bearings website.  In Bearings, choose "Schedule of Courses", find a class that interests you, and contact the faculty member via email to request a visit. Faculty emails are available through Bowdoin's online directory.

Please plan to arrive at a class five minutes before it is scheduled to begin to introduce yourself to the instructor. Our faculty ask that you plan to stay for the entire class.
