To facilitate the application process, Bowdoin uses the Common Application. (The Common Application is a service that allows students to complete one comprehensive application and send it to multiple colleges. For more information, visit the Common Application Web site.)
All applicants must also complete the Bowdoin Supplement, which includes a supplemental essay question.
Additionally, the following materials are to be completed as appropriate to your situation:
- Early Decision Agreement — if you choose to apply early decision.
- Home-schooled Supplement — for students who have been home-schooled at any point in their academic career
- Transfer Student Supplement — for students transferring from another college or university. When applying for Transfer Admission, applicants must choose to apply for fall admission (not spring).
